We were so happy to present this plaque to Mrs. Lakin at Gashland today! Lakin’s Literacy Legacy will be a dedicated, ongoing Booster Club initiative to help keep supporting all of the wonderful reading programs that Mrs. Lakin has been a huge part of over the years. We are so grateful to her and all the staff in our schools that help our students become the little readers they are. Any donations made to Lakin’s Literacy Legacy will go specifically to books, reading programs (like Buzz Be a Reader) and other ideas as they come up to honor Lakin’s legacy. Thank you, Cindy. We’re excited for your retirement but will miss you.
